  • Theatre Maker

I am a theater designer and visual artist. I am a graduate of the UCSD MFA design program where I spent 3 years in the wild, dreamy spaces of California.

I believe that design is my mode of communication. It allows me to explore the tension between the intellectual idea and dramatic gesture. I approach the process of design as a visual dramaturg.

Being born in Hong Kong and raised in Singapore, I am interested in creating pluralistic worlds in the theater and finding a way to bring a transnational perspective to projects. I enjoy the highly collaborative process of designing for new work and devised work. I often seek to queer the work subliminally. As a designer, I seek to transgress playfully. I bring agency, presence, and a multi-disciplinary attitude to all my projects.

I am always looking for new collaborators and artists to work with - please, drop me a line at
